Meant to say (book club)

I have finished Sepulchre by Kate Mosse, and I really enjoyed it. It kept me interested all through and I did enjoy the victorian gothic horror atmosphere ala Edgar Allen Poe, there were a couple of little plot dissapointments, but nothing to spoil the enjoyment. Also it was useful to have read Labyrinth as a character from it appeared in the book.
I have embarked on "The Time Travellers Wife" by Audrey Niffenerger. I have read this before and adored it and have made everyone I know read it, it has, after a long trip returned to me so I am re-visiting, something I rarely do.....if you fancy an amazing love story with a twist that will make you laugh and cry, this is it.

New doll excitement

Custom house dolls is having a 30% off sale so I think I might get this little beauty, Bisou UU (horrible name sounds like glue to me!). The great thing about her is that she is Riley size so she can wear all the riley clothes I have. Kayjay an I are going to order together to save on postage.

I am back

Hi there, I am back from the folks, Had a nice few days, but the weather was awful, i got a bit of sewing done though. Mum has got a new camera with superb Macro on it, here is a super close up of Sun.

Also Tilly's wig came, it's lovely she really suits it. It was in a massive box for the size of the wig!I'll post some pics later.

On a personal note, Bethany,Imy lovely niece got all A's in her A-levels today and will be off to Sheffield uni in September. She has worked soooo hard and I am a very proud Auntie today!

Hi Tiny Friends and the not so Tiny,I am going away for a few days to the place where time forgot, or should I say technology, anyway no internet access (My Mum and Dad only just got a CD player! bless em!)so any messages won't answered till thursday. have a great week. Lati wig and stuff

I checked on the Lati site today and Tilly's wig has been shipped! Yayy ! how long have I waited, well since the 11/7, it's only a tiny wig for goodness sake! Anyway I am so glad that Tilly will have her proper hair do.
Good news is, since I have been playing with Tilly I have found that she fits Mins stuff quite well and only a small adjustment will be needed to make her wardrobe.
I am enjoying making some stuff for Moona at the mo, again not much different in fit to Min.

Oh, I love her, she is stunning, I soooo much prefer the Sp sized body to the standard I have on my Lily. She poses so much better. I can't wait to get her Lati wig and make her some new outfits.........watch this space :)

Mini meet-up

This afternoon I had a a visit from the lovely Kayjay, she came to my place to deliver my new doll Lati white Belle now Tilly. We had a mini meet up with our dolls and I made some little souvenier tshirt for the day. Sorry about the slightly out of focus photo.

K brought her MF Leishe who is stunning, her two gorgeous Tinybear dolls Solstice and Whisper (Whisper above with Min in the blonde wig), the beautiful Kai (soooo glad I have one on layaway, or I would have been tempted to hide her!!!) and Eva the charity doll by helen Kish who is adorable. We had a lovely chat and I hope we will meet again.
