Couple of pictures of the newbie Real puki Soso...if you are at all tempted by Soso then I don't think you will be dissapointed, what a lovely face she has! I really just can't put her down! I think I might be calling her Hebe (which is a tiny flower). I took her in to work today and even the non doll people were enchanted.

Also shown here is My Multi head Meggie, I got a bobobie body from Teddy at the Meet and with a little persuasion she is attatched. She is wearing a lovely dress and bear made by Sam from Mary Myrtle Miniatures.

New Kid On The Block 2

I got this little chap from a friend, a Lati white sp Kong. He is a boy right now but may end up a girl and as he is white skin I can see him as a freckly red head.

Tinies Get Together!

As loyal blog fans may remember, we had a meet up this weekend and it was wonderful! I met up with old friends and hopefully made some new. And my flat was filled with some gorgeous tiny dolls (heaven). I will post some pics soon

Bunny Arrival!

My little Elfdoll rabbit came on Wednesday 11th, he is gorgeous the perfect White Rabbit. He called R'fur as in R for rabbit in rememberance of my real life bunny called R'fur.
I will photograph him when I have made his John Teniel outfit.

November news

Couple of things to tell you; #1 I traded my Madeline face plate with luv*it for a Lily face plate and it arrived today, she has a face plate by the talented face-up artiste Meeeee although I softened the lips a tiny bit. The eyes and eyebrows are wonderful! I will take some pic tomorrow.

#2 I got a lovely wig from jpop wigs it is called ashes in the shimmer colour its a lovely soft mixture of blue,pink, gold and lilac very pretty!

#3 My friend Michael gave me some doll money for my birthday and I contributed it to an Elfdoll Bunny from a seller on Doa. I have a yearning to make him in to a John Teniel style White Rabbit (he was the original illustrator of Alic in Wonderland) and then an Alice too (maybe Tilly?)

Arrival!

Choco Cupid has arrived after paying ransom of £38! I like her wig, the colour of her resin skin and the 4 sets of hands, but am still not 100% sure that I love her yet. I have just changed her eyes from purple to greeny blue which see to suit her better.
I have just repainted the Darjeeling face plate as the eyes were too heavy for me, I am pleased with the new face and she is now called Tabitha. will post some pictures tomorrow.

New Kid On The Block

Well not a whole kid but a Puki face plate, Darjeeling to be precise, and what a lovely sculpt she is. I spent a fun couple of hours this aft painting her face up. So her she is!

Lati Arrival

Here is my new little white baby, Basic Bayer, she has just arrived (with no charges ) and she is just delicious! Surprisingly, she is a redhead, I think that is because of her corally pink face up. (Am doing a happy dance, glad no one is here to see it except for Maisy (cat) who is looking at me with much disdain!!!)

Update!

Hi there,

I have been away again, this time at my Mum's, she has had an eye op and I was playing cook/nurse, not my natural role in life to be honest! But the good news is Mum is fine and can see better than before! The bad news was that whilst I was away my beloved Husband had serious dental problems and requires and operation too! (costing £300 arghh).

On a lighter note, more relevent to the Blog, at least, I should get my Lati Bayer by the end of the month, and then I need to pay my last payment for Choco cupid. Also I seem to have put a Lati cat laches on Layaway (Picture by Lati,been on my wish list since forever!).

And now the very evil Fairyland has released a gorgeous new Puki called Ruby, who is just a bit lovely!!!!

Sorry, I have been the above and really had nothing to report much....I am waiting for my Bayer and about to pay off my last payment for choco cupid.

I am away for a week this afternoon, it's my Mums 8oth birthday and we have a family get together in Ross on Wye. We have hired a nice house to stay in.

Jasmines party dress

Here is Jasmine in her new party dress (made for Maisies party, Happy Birthday Maisie!), it is not entirely my design (as all my other stuff is) this dress pattern was adapted from the smocked dress pattern in the "Fashion for Small Dolls" book by Rosemarie Ionker. I reduced the 7"pattern on my scanner by 50% and slightly slimmed down the sides, other than that it worked fine for Lati white sp.

Cupid Multihead

Heres a quick snap of the Cupid Multihead I finished painting her yesterday. She is temporarily on my Little Miss body (only till for a short while as I am missing her little face, she is on topic here:))which is a great size for the head

My Pukifee multihead came today, she is an Ante sculpt so I sat down and enjoyed myself painting her face this aft. She is on a Puki body (sorry Madeline!) So here she is. Also I got some lovely tiny buttons from Thaifabshop on Etsy.

Teaser!

In between commission sewing I have been making Jasmine a holiday wardrobe. It has all been based on the colours in the fabric of Jasmine's dress. Just as a little tease I will be listing a different wee wardrobe for Lati white sp, for sale very soon.

I absolutely adore her, she is beautiful in real life and anyone who has followed the blog from the beginning would know she is my "Holy Grail" doll.

Kayjay and I had the idea of organizing a fun weekend get-together for tiny BJD fans. And I can now announce that we have a date 21/22 November (plenty of time to save up!). It will be in Manchester and we have lots of fun thing planned including a workshop with Carrie from Sleeping elf a dressmaking workshop with me and already had some promises of some lovely raffle prizes from the likes of Samantha Potter and possibly Ruby Red (profits to charity).

I have just ordered Choco Cupid from DDE on a 4 month layaway. I was inspired by the owner pics on DOA like this one from Reinedelaseine, what a sweetie!

I am still not sewing alot but am having treatment so should be better soon.

New Obsession

If my Bjd obsession weren't enough, I have a new quite consuming passion; Troll beads or should I say Troll/Pandora/Lovelinks/etc type beads.

They are beads that you collect and add to a plain bracelet, my sister Ali got into them a couple of years ago and I decided,, very sensibly that it was a money pit I was determind not to fall into!

My lovely sister, who knows me better than I know myself, knew I would eventually succomb and when I did, recently, buy the bracelet and a few beads she announced that she had been saving beads for the time which I would see the light. So I started off a couple of months ago collecting and now I have quite a number.......admitedly mostly cheaper versions from ebay (don't look if you want avoid the money pit!) and some hand blown glass ones from Etsy (again... don't look!). the great thing is that I now have a matching bracelet for every outfit.....heaven on a wrist :)

New girl

Here she is, the new girl, name of Katie (named after Lily's friend who has a similar colouring).

She is a Felix Brownie Ravi. She has a very pretty face and a set of 7 extra hands of which this picture displays her "OK" hand.

Doll news

And on doll news; my Felix Brownie "Ravi" is in the country, Valli is sending her tomorrow, I cant wait to see her.

And I wasnt sure about the Choco Pukis (do you notice a theme here!!!) but now I am seeing the owner pix, I want one!
